Using data collected with the survey FMML (Families of Marche region and Labour Market) let us highlight, for the first time in the Marche region, a wide range of territorial characteristics of the labour market. As the results of the analysis clearly show us, it might be biasing to use region and provin- ces as territorial keys to interpret the relevant characteristics of the labour market, due to the high degree of heterogeneity at the local level. The results are important both in cognitive terms and, as a consequence, in the formu- lation of public policies.
